Old Fashioned is an amazing cocktail not only if made with bourbon. A lot of other spirits can be a base for a delicious Old Fashioned and rum is one of those. This one was made with Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva, homemade chocolate bitters, and coffee bitters. It's a wonderful spirit-forward cocktail.
RUM Old Fashioned:
· 50 ml (1 2/3 oz) Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva
· 1 bar spoon rich demerara syrup
· 3 dashes chocolate bitters
· 1 dash coffee bitters
· orange peel (Regal stir)
· chocolate with sprinkled salt for garnish
