December is that part of the year when we look back on the year that's past and plan ahead for what's coming. It's also a time for celebration and that's the perfect occasion to impress your loved ones with an easy delicious Whisky Champagne Cocktail. It's made with champagne, scotch, and honey as the sweetener. I also use orange bitters instead of Angostura and Chivas XV, so I’m calling it the Gold Champagne Cocktail. It’s got the perfect gold color and it sure tastes like liquid gold too. Delicious, easy scotch cocktail for the end of 2021.
Gold Champagne Cocktail
● 30 ml (1 oz) Chivas XV (chilled, if possible)
● 2 dashes orange bitters
● 1 barspoon honey syrup
● top up 100ml (3.3 oz) champagne
Build the cocktail in a chilled champagne flute and express an orange peel on top.
